BMV and Biva rise strongly encouraged by greater appetite for risk

The Mexican stock exchange (BMV) operates with strong advances this Tuesday morning. The local stock market gains, boosted by a greater global appetite for risk assets after news that some Russian troops near Ukraine are returning to their bases, easing concerns about an invasion.

The index reference S&P/BMV IPC, made up of the shares of the 35 issuers with the highest value by capitalization and liquidity in Mexico, advances 1.24% and stands at a level of 52,983 units. The index FTSE BIVAthe main of the Institutional Stock Market (Biva), rises 1.29% and stands at 1,094.68 units.

Within the benchmark index, most constituents are placed in gains territory, with 32 of their values ​​in green, two in red and one unchanged. The most outstanding papers so far this day are those of Volaris, with 3.51%; followed by Grupo Financiero Banorte, with 2.90 percent.
