The Mexican stock exchange (BMV) operates with strong advances this Tuesday morning. The local stock market gains, boosted by a greater global appetite for risk assets after news that some Russian troops near Ukraine are returning to their bases, easing concerns about an invasion.
The index reference S&P/BMV IPC, made up of the shares of the 35 issuers with the highest value by capitalization and liquidity in Mexico, advances 1.24% and stands at a level of 52,983 units. The index FTSE BIVAthe main of the Institutional Stock Market (Biva), rises 1.29% and stands at 1,094.68 units.
Within the benchmark index, most constituents are placed in gains territory, with 32 of their values in green, two in red and one unchanged. The most outstanding papers so far this day are those of Volaris, with 3.51%; followed by Grupo Financiero Banorte, with 2.90 percent.
