Authorities reopen the Callejón del Beso in Guanajuato after conflict

The closure of this tourist attraction by the municipal government of Guanajuato was carried out under the excuse of rehabilitation and maintenance of the site, however, the neighbors disagreed and reproached Navarro for placing a metal bench and a post, which reduces space to tourists.

“For that Navarro is not studied, you are harming us who live here; he only looks at what space you leave us, we are throwing ourselves to be able to pass. Those are those are stupidities”, yelled a neighbor who broke into the opening act.

Before the media, Alejandro Navarro maintained that it was not a closure as such, but a temporary closure, since the 50th edition of the Cervantino International Festival begins next Wednesday.

According to residents of the area near the emblematic alley, the conflict between the owners of the balconies and the photographers is due to the lack of regulations on tourism.
