After irregularities were reported in the dispatch of subsidized fuel in some stations in the country, the director of the Panama Transit and Land Transportation Authority (ATTT), Carlos Ordóñez, reported that investigations are already being carried out in conjunction with the Panama Government Innovation (AIG).
According to complaints from some users, they did not appear in the system because they had been removed from the fuel subsidy platform. Ordóñez said that no one has been ordered to remove this benefit.
He added that the subsidy of $3.25 will be maintained until January 15, 2023 and reiterated that there is no consumption limit for drivers, so they will carry out the pertinent analyzes to determine how the adjustments are made.
“Right now no plate has been excluded from the system, we are analyzing all these reports, all the plates to find the solution and that by tomorrow all these users can go to the gas stations and make use of this subsidy,” he said.
