Animal groups denounce the death of dogs due to the use of pyrotechnics by candidates in Tacna

The president of the animal group “Razón y Conciencia Tacna” Ana Rodríguez Ortiz denounced that the use of pyrotechnics by political parties left two dogs dead over the weekend, which is why they reject this action, in addition to the fact that it is prohibited.

“One of the animals was run over by Plaza Grau when he was terrified trying to escape from the explosions and others fell from a second floor on Atahualpa Street. These acts are reprehensible, we totally condemn them, we know the damage they cause to animals and autistic children, if they know the damage they cause, why do they continue to use them?”he asked himself.

Violate municipal ordinance

He recalled that there is Ordinance 007-2013 of the Provincial Municipality of Tacna that prohibits the use of fireworks, however it is not complied with or controlled, since every weekend they are activated for the opening of bases, rallies and mobilizations of the groups politicians.

He questioned the applicants for wanting to be authorities going above the rules and for not showing any kind of respect despite the affectation they cause to people and pets.
