After two years without being held in person because of the covid-19 pandemic, the traditional LGBT+ Pride Parade is back this Sunday (19). The 26th edition of the event will be on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo.
To mark the event and also honor the month of LGBTQIAP+ Pride, the São Paulo Department of Culture and Creative Economy prepared a special program, with exhibitions, soirees, film screenings, chats, workshops, readings and lectures that address the theme. of diversity.
One of the highlights of the program is the chat Black Words: Diversity at the Museum, scheduled for tomorrow (18) at the Ruth de Souza Theater, at the Afro Museum. To participate in the chat, it is necessary to sign up for the site from the museum.
Casa das Rosas promotes the Transarau, in which poetic performances, dances, hair-beating and an open microphone will be presented. The Transarau will be on the 25th, at 4pm.
At the São Paulo Library, the attraction is a lecture on trans comics, scheduled for Tuesday (21), at 4 pm. Entries must be made by this link.
From the 22nd to the 28th of this month, Fábrica de Cultura Vila Curuça will promote a meeting about the book 50 amazing LGBTQ+, by Débora Thomé, illustrated by LGBTQIAP+ artists. More information can be obtained at site from the Culture Factory.
