On Wednesday the 17th, the National Administration of Public Education (ANEP) authorities requested the Ministry of the Interior to vacate the premises of the Artigas Teachers Institute (IPA) and centers of the Teacher Training Institute and the Teacher Training Council that were being occupied by the student unions, demanding a larger budget for education and rejecting the process of educational transformation

The Teacher Training Institutes (IFD) of Maldonado and Florida, the Regional Teachers Center of Florida, Atlántida and Las Piedras, were also occupied this Thursday.
