After a homicide in a school in Colón, the Ministry of Education calls for an end to violence and to promote peace

After it became known about a homicide inside the Rufo A. Garay School in the province of Colón, the Ministry of Education made a call to end violence and promote peaceful coexistence in educational centers and communities in the country.

Through a statement, the Ministry of Education assured that it will be aware of the investigations with those responsible for this fact, which, in addition to the deceased, left two students injured.

It should be noted that this violent event occurred while an educational activity was being carried out on campus.
“We call on the educational community to continue developing environments to transform the culture of violence, with tools that teach positive interpersonal relationships and peaceful coexistence in schools and in all families in Panama,” they stated in the statement. .
