AFP Reserves inaugurated its first service agency in Azua to offer service to clients in the southern part of the country.
In addition to meeting the demand of its affiliates that have increased exponentially, compared to previous years.
The new office is part of the expansion plan of the Pension Fund Administrator. This aims to strengthen its structure to facilitate access to the different services it offers.
Joel Santos, general manager of AFP Reservas, said that in the southern region the entity has approximately 100,000 members.
It considered it necessary to expand its network of offices and provide a high-level personalized service to customers living in that area.
“It wants to offer its clients service spaces closer to their areas of residence, without having to travel to the city of Santo Domingo.”
The expansion program recently started with the opening in Punta Cana.
During the next year 2022 it has been planned to open new offices and thus complete the agencies that operate in the areas of Santo Domingo and Santiago.
Currently the company has 584 thousand clients and from January to the end of October of this year.
The customer service office in Santo Domingo has provided more than 10,287 services and has granted RD $ 662,512 million in benefits to affiliates in the southern region.

In particular, the Superintendency of Pensions, represented by Ramón Contreras, as well as the directors of the Reserve Bank, Samuel Pereyra, general administrator, and José Francisco Elías, sub-administrator of subsidiaries.
Among the services are application processing of all the benefits provided by Law 87-01 of the Social Security System, updating of the data as a member, among others.
The new customer service agency is located at the Banreservas facilities, Public Works office, Av. Francisco del R. Sánchez, in Azua.
