In February, The FAO Food Price Index hit a record. In real terms, food had never reached such a high price. Increasingly frequent droughts add blows from Canada to Brazil to cut supply. And that was before the war. The price of food enters uncharted territory, like that of energy and perhaps that of all of humanity.
