On the afternoon of this Saturday a 61-year-old man who was riding a bicycle was hit by a bus in the town of Tres Puentes de Rivera, reported the Highway Police.
The accident on route 27, kilometer 60, happened at 7:15 p.m. A Mercedes Benz bus was going from west to east. The cyclist was going in the same direction, but for “causes to be determined”, the bus collided with him with the right side of its front.

The bus driver and passengers, approximately 30 people, were unharmed. This one, moreover, it gave zero in the spirometry control.
The bicycle driver died at 20:40, according to a doctor from the State Health Services Administration (ASSE).

Rivera’s 1st Turn prosecutor, Serrana Corsino, went to the scene and ordered the autopsy of the man who died, and ordered that the bus driver be summoned and that a spirometry control be carried out.
