Santo Domingo.- A few hours after the voting centers close, the elections to choose the new rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) were developed without problems this Wednesday and with a great flow of voters.

The centers will close at 8:00 pm this Wednesday, to then proceed to count and issue the first bulletin, according to the Electoral Commission.
This afternoon, followers of the two candidates for rectors, Jorge Asjana and Editrudis Beltranwere concentrated in the vicinity of said academy, awaiting the closing of the voting and the beginning of the count.
