The second edition of cyber wow 2022 It will be held from July 4 to 8 and more than 200 brands from the fields of technology, tourism, textiles, footwear, personal care, among others, will participate. Internet purchases are expected to exceed S/ 676 million, which represents an increase of 30% compared to the previous event, VTEX Peru projected.
“This year a positive purchasing behavior is observed. For this edition of Cyber Wow, we project a 30% growth in virtual transactions, considering the economic flow that occurs thanks to the release of the CTS and AFP. In this sense, it will be important for businesses to be prepared with a platform that supports a large volume of sales.”, said Yuriko Huayana, Country Manager of VTEX Peru.

According to the e-commerce platform, the most demanded categories in this event will be home, fashion, technology and also the category of healthy stores.

In addition, the company highlighted the use of marketplaces as one of the features preferred by consumers.
In the previous edition, developed between April 18 and 22, an increase of 10.39% in billing was achieved, compared to the same period in 2021; and the number of transactions grew by 22.61%, according to figures from VTEX.
Unlike other years, this season of discounts, which includes campaigns such as the Father’s Day and Cyber Wowis projected to be one of the best positioned in the country for buyers between 25 and 44 years of age, according to a study by Google and Ipsos.
The report also indicated that 44% of Peruvians expect to make an investment between S/ 251 and S/ 1,000.
