The Metropolitan Office of Bus Services (omsa) will have 30 buses to transport parishioners free of charge who will participate in the event organized by the Archdiocese of Santo Domingo at the Columbus Lighthouse on the occasion of Corpus Christi.
The entity reported that all its buses will work on a regular schedule during the holiday this Thursday, both in Santo Domingo and in Barahona and Santiago, from 5:40 in the morning until 11:00 at night, with the aim of guaranteeing transportation public to the citizens during this festivity.
The CEO of the omsaRadhamés González, reiterated the commitment of the entity he directs to the population that requires a transportation affordable and safe public.
The entity will be facilitating transportation to the people who will go from the different parishes of the Archdiocese of Santo Domingo to the activities of the church, especially those who will attend the great national feast of the “Presence of Christ” in the Eucharist at the Columbus Lighthouse.
This Thursday day of Corpus Christi, starting at 9:00 in the morning, there will be a Catholic concentration in which the attendance of 50 to 60 thousand people is expected in the surroundings of the Columbus Lighthouse in which parishioners from various locations will participate. The activity is organized by the Faro government.
