The Regime Police clarified the femicide of Brenda del Carmen Hernández Escoto, 50 years old. Her spouse and her femicide, Gabriel Antonio Guadamuz Orozco, 37, alias “El Colombiano” strangled her and buried her in the patio of the “San Diego” Bar, owned by the victim. The event occurred in the El Coyolar neighborhood of the city of León.
According to the Police, Carlos José Hernández Escoto, brother of the victim, reported the disappearance of Brenda Hernández Escoto on Wednesday, June 8, after seven days of not knowing her whereabouts. Days before her disappearance, according to police investigations, the woman had argued with Guadamuz for “couple discord.”
The investigations revealed that on June 1 at 3:30 pm Brenda arrived at her business and found her partner in the company of a woman named Allison Gabriela Carvajal. That situation would have provoked an argument between Hernández and Guadamuz. The man beat her and strangled her to death.

After seeing Brenda’s lifeless body, the femicide and the woman who was with him in his partner’s business wrapped the body in sheets, covered it with adhesive tape, dug a hole in the yard, buried the woman’s body and then they tried to seal their crime with cement.
Allison Gabriela Carvajal was arrested by the Police, while the femicide Gabriel Antonio Guadamuz Orozco fled and was circulated for search and capture to answer for Brenda’s crime.
Brenda’s body was found by police investigators last Friday, June 10, buried in the patio of the business. A Leon coroner determined that her cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation due to strangulation.
From January 1 to May 31, 2022, the observatory of the Catholic organization for the Right to Decide has registered 27 crimes against Nicaraguan women and girls. The crime against Brenda would be number 28.
In addition, it counts 60 frustrated femicides, which means that the victims were able to save their lives. The organization assured that in Nicaragua citizen insecurity is on the rise because the Daniel Ortega dictatorship continues to release common prisoners, who are granted many benefits, but continue to commit crimes.
