The report from the Department of Epidemiology of the Minsa indicates that 894,844 accumulated cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Panama to date, of which 2,389 are new positive cases today. is reported Two (2) new deaths that correspond to the last 24 hours, but three (3) of previous dates are updated for 8,312 accumulated deaths and a lethality that remains at 0.9%.
The total number of people recovered from the disease amounts to 865,482, of which 2,995 are newly recovered today. 12,268 tests were applied for a positivity of 19.5%.
Active cases total 21,050 throughout the country. 20,778 are in home isolation and 272 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 20,747 at home and 31 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 236 Ward and 36 in ICU.
The districts with the highest number of positive cases today are: San Francisco (Panama) with 86 cases; Bethania with 83 cases; Bella Vista (Panama) 80 cases; Juan Díaz (Panama) 77 cases and Don Bosco with 71 cases.
