The approval of the government fell five points in the last quarter and stood at 46%, according to a new poll by Option Consultants released this Thursday on Telenoche (Channel 4). The survey, which had a sample of 800 cases, was conducted between May 23 and June 1
“After 27 months of management, the national government registers a 46% favorable evaluation and an approval gap of +17 points. Compared to the previous quarter, there was a 5-point drop in approval and a 7-point increase in disapproval,” the consultant stated in its report.
Of the 46% who approve of the administration, 14% consider it “very good” and 32% rate it as “good”, while three out of 10 Uruguayans evaluate the government administration unfavorably: 15% who classify it as “bad” and 14% rate it as “very bad”.
In turn, 22% of citizens describe the work of the government as “neither good nor bad”.
