A man was killed by a shot to the head in the Peñarol neighborhood. Although the causes of the event are unknown, one of the hypotheses is a possible “settling of accounts”.
The event took place in the vicinity of Camino Edinson and Lamartine, reported Telemundo based on witnesses who communicated the information to the police officers. Two people approached the victim and one fired without saying a word and later fled the scene.
Neighbors in the area indicated that the victim was a man who was on the street, but that information has not been corroborated by police officers. The circumstances in which the crime occurred are not clear.
