President Jair Bolsonaro participated in this Saturday (21), in Curitiba, from the March for Jesus. The event organized by evangelical groups was again held in the capital of Paraná after two years. The march had been interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We know how important freedom of religion and expression is in our Brazil,” Bolsonaro said during the march. “Today, we will all give our lives for freedom. This is the greatest good of a country that calls itself democratic. This is the biggest reason we fight for our goals. Freedom is more important than life itself, history shows us that,” he added.
The president returned to Brasília shortly after participating in the event and has no other official commitments this weekend.
