Cañada de Guajimía overflows due to the rains

The glen of Guajimia is overflowing this Sunday afternoon by the waters caused by the incidence of a trough in the national territory.

In a video sent to Free Journal You can see the great accumulation of garbage that circulates through the streets of the sector from the canyon.

“This has no mother. Oh holy God! This is Guajimía. God help us”expressed the man while recording the audiovisual.

The Emergency Operations Center (COE) increased to 13 the provinces on alert for possible flooding of rivers, streams and ravines, as well as urban and sudden floods due to the incidence of a trough.

On yellow alert are Monsignor Nouel, La Vega, María Trinidad Sánchez, Monte Plata, Santiago and Hato Mayor.

While on green alert they are Santo Domingo, Santiago Rodríguez, San Cristóbal, El Seibo, Sánchez Ramírez and San José de Ocoa.
