The Executive Secretariat of the PIT CNT, meeting today, after analyzing a detailed report presented by the representative of SUTEL, states:
The decision of the Executive Branch to authorize the creation of a consortium between MONTECABLE (Channel 4), TCC (Channel 10) and NUEVO SIGLO (Channel 12); is an unprecedented event in our country that creates an Internet monopoly whose sole objective is to favor these companies, fundamentally to the detriment of the services provided by ANTEL.
We emphatically reject the creation of this private monopoly, supporting the initiatives that our subsidiary SUTEL has carried out so far, as well as the mobilizations and revocation resources that
develop from now on in defense of the state enterprise.
