The recommendation applies to those workers who have children of school age

Following the announcement of the National Administration of Public Education (ANEP) to close schools and kindergartens due to the increase in infections of respiratory diseases, Sources from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS) confirmed to El Observador that it will be recommended to public and private employers that those workers who have school-age children under their care can telework.
The closure of schools
The National Administration of Public Education (ANEP) defined that face-to-face classes for all public and private centers of Initial and Primary education be suspended from next Monday, July 3 until Friday, July 21, while today will define how much of those three weeks will be virtual classes and how much of july vacation in public centers.
The decision was made due to the increased circulation of the respiratory infections in children in the country that has led to a increase in pediatric hospitalizations.
In the next few hours, the Ministry of Labor will issue a statement making the recommendation effective.
