In the midst of strong police custody, after 6:25 p.m., the Criminal Investigation Judge, Livia Alarcón, installed the precautionary hearing of Diego V. and Freddy Ch., officials of the Bolivian Aviation airline (BoA), who were apprehended on Friday night at the Viru Viru airport for sending a shipment of 478 kilograms of cocaine from the Santa Cruz airport terminal to Spain.
DUTY had access to the accusation presented by the prosecutor assigned to the Rocío Medrano and Fernando Mejía case before the judge, in which she accuses both BoA workers for the alleged crimes of trafficking in controlled substances, conspiracy and criminal association.
The development of the precautionary hearing is carried out on the 7th floor of the Palace of Justice where there is an atmosphere of considerable secrecy and silence.
Among the procedural risks, the complaint indicates that there are enough evidence that the defendants are the material authors of sending the shipment, that there is a risk of flight and that both represent a danger to society.
