The Open Cabildo Political Table is convened for this Monday afternoon for the purpose of evaluating the possible actions to be taken after the request for the resignation of President Luis Lacalle Pou to the Minister of Housing, Irene Moreira.
The request was made after the public statement by the leader of the sector, Guido Manini Ríos, who after noon on Friday assured from Parliament that the direct award of a house to a Cabildo Abierto militant had been adjusted to the law, based on a regulations in force in the Ministry since 2009.
The meeting, scheduled for 6:00 p.m., will be held at the party’s headquarters and a press conference was announced for which the media were summoned at 7:20 p.m.
