A run in the bottom of the first, 5 in the second, 9 in the third, 5 more in the fourth were enough for the Venezuelan attack to complete 20 runs, 17 hits and 1 defensive error.
For its part, Panama scored 11 runs with 5 in the first inning, 1 in the third, 2 in the fourth and 3 in the fifth, with 11 hits and 5 fouls on the pitch.
