The Buenos Aires Ministry of Agrarian Development approved a new line of financing and non-refundable contributions (ARN) of up to $1.5 million that will be allocated to producers affected by fires registered on January 13 in the area of La Mascota, Villarino district, in the southern province.
This was reported this Monday by sources from the municipality of Villarino, who indicated that “the mayor Carlos Bevilacqua carried out different steps to formalize the requests of the producers in order to expedite the economic aid.”
“The new line of financing for fire damage is intended for the repair and improvement of fences, gates, facilities and equipment in general,” they said from the municipality.
In this context, they indicated that the credits will be up to $1.5 million, with a term of 18 months and a 6-month grace period on the principal, and an interest rate of 24 percent.
Meanwhile, the line of non-refundable contributions for fire damage contemplates an amount to be granted of up to 130,000 pesos per productive unitfor the repair of wire fences, gates, facilities and equipment in general linked to production.
For his part, the Provincial Minister of Agrarian Development, Javier Rodríguez, had indicated that “according to the survey that we have been carrying out from the ministry and the dialogue with the producers in the area, we have defined these new lines that are adjusted to their needs and that allow to cover a part of the total affectation”.
