After several days of waiting after the announcement of the same government to make a SOAT discount in the country, finally this Saturday it was learned that Decree 2497 had already been signed and authorizes this differential rate for at least 13 types of vehicles.

from 100 ce and up to 200 ce - Motorcycle trikes and quadricycles
- Motorcars 5 passengers
- Business cars, taxis and urban minibuses
- Urban public service, buses and vans
- Intermunicipal public service vehicles established in Annex I of Title IV of
Part II of External Circular 029 of 2014 of the Financial Superintendence of
Colombia.
The Financial Superintendence must publish the new rates within one business day after the decree is issued, that is,this Monday, December 19.

As the Compulsory Traffic Accident Insurance -SOAT- is a
compulsory insurance contracting, the insurance companies authorized to operate
the branch are obliged to issue the policies that are requested throughout the country.
