Dina Boluarte thanked a call from Alberto Fernández after his arrival at the presidency

The president of Peru, Dina Boluarte, thanked a communication she received from the Argentine head of state, Alberto Fernández, and stated that in that contact her colleague expressed her “backing, support and collaboration.”

The communication was informed by Boluarte through a post on his official account of the Twitter network in which he thanked “the call from the president of the sister Republic of Argentina”

According to him, the Argentine president “expressed his endorsement, support and collaboration within the framework of strengthening our democracy, bilateral relations and regional policies for the development of South America.”

Boluarte, a 60-year-old lawyer who was vice president of Peru under Pedro Castillotook office on Wednesday after the dismissal of the now ex-president, who hours before had announced the dissolution of Congress.
