Likewise, the National Society of Industries indicated that if the strike of carriers continues, the food supply for the population will be affected, for which reason it asked the Government and the protesters to solve the situation through dialogue.

“This strike is paralyzing foreign trade operations, both import and export, causing serious damage to the national economy, especially to the regions of the country that need to reactivate and create new jobs.”, it was specified in the statement issued.
Finally, the SNI asked the government authorities and the transport unions to make the greatest efforts to reach consensus agreements that would allow the definitive lifting of the strike.
