Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) certified that the Los Zamuracos farm, located in Elorza, is in “perfect order.”
The information was disclosed by General Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Fanb (Ceofanb).
The military inspection of the aforementioned rural property occurs 48 hours after its owner, Santos Torrealba, denounced last week through a video that approximately 250 members of the Colombian National Liberation Army (ELN) took over the farm. Torrealba affirmed in that recording that the subjects were demanding the sum of 1 million dollars to return his property.
Later, Torrealba reported in another video that the Fanb was giving him support to retake the farm. For this reason, Hernández Lárez reported this Tuesday that an “air-ground patrol was carried out at the Los Zamuracos farm, verifying that the facilities were in perfect order and without any Tancol elements.” The general alluded to the so-called Armed Terrorists, Colombian Drug Traffickers, according to those acronyms.
