During this Tuesday, the Providential Presidential Delegation of Los Andes announced the closure of the Los Libertadores International Pass, which connects Chile with Argentina, due to snowfall and low temperatures recorded in the Andes Mountains.
Through a document, they report that as of this Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. the transit of all types of vehicles circulating through the international corridor was suspended.
“The reason for said suspension is due to the predicted climatic condition that affects this mountain range sector with snowfall and low temperatures that make safe transit on this International Route 60-CH impossible, for which the international corridor will remain closed preventively for all type of vehicles”, adds the document.
Finally, they point out that any update will be made known through the corresponding means.
