The investigations into the murder of a woman whose body authorities found in the waters of the Ordeig spabelow the Valdéz Chico bridge (San José), continue and at this time the researchers handle numerous hypotheses.
The discovery occurred on Friday. Police examined the body to determine if it corresponded to the identity of a woman who was reported missing on Wednesday. This person rented together with her partner a cabin in the Kiyu spa for 10 days and since then their family had no more contact with them. She was one of the daughters of the woman who appeared before the Police to report her absence.
As a result of the complaint, the authorities launched the search. First, they went to the cabin that the couple rented, but, despite the fact that both of their belongings were there, they did not find either of them. They also indicated that everything seemed as if the couple left everything ready to leave and return.
In the second instance, the tasks of tracking the disappeared were expanded. First, the car in which both people were driving was found and then the lifeless body was found in the San José River, at kilometer 66 of Route 45.
The identity of the body and the hypotheses
The fiscal of the 2nd Freedom Shift, Cecilia Gutiérrez, was the one who ordered the skills to identify the body. Finally, it was determined that it was indeed that of the 50-year-old woman who was missing.
In accordance with Telemundo, the forensic analysis showed that the body had three stab wounds in the abdomen. They also indicated that the body had been lying on the site for about 48 hours.
The aforementioned media also indicated that since Saturday the search range was expanded around the river, with the intention of finding the whereabouts of the deceased’s partner, a 65-year-old man.
Theories about what happened are multiple. The Police do not rule out that it is a double homicide, a femicide and suicide or even that after killing the woman the man fled to Brazil through the dry border.
