Discipline and joy marked psuvista elections in Falcón

This Saturday the third phase of the elections of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela was held where they renew the leadership in their bases and the militancy of the Falcón state complied in a committed, disciplined and cheerful manner.

Starting at noon, the logistics were already in place in each of the communities so that the 729 Bolivar and Chavez Battle Units (UBCh) of the region could choose their new teams.

Around 20,000 Falconians took to the streets to express themselves in the assemblies under the premise of organizing, uniting and adding motivated by a revolutionary sentiment that led them to participate in a democratic party.

The political head of the entity, Víctor Clark Boscán, witnessed the day from the municipalities of the Paraguaná Peninsula, where he toured several electoral centers to verify the response to the call, for which he published on his official Instagram account a video showing the exercise of the vote.

“Our Falconian people participate in a leading role in this historic day, demonstrating a very high level of awareness, commitment and militancy,” he said in a post.

The PSUV organization coordinator in Falcón, Jesús León, highlighted the participation of the PSUV militancy in taking to the streets and participating in what he called “a day of Chavista joy.”

He stressed that in each point the participation of youth and women was notable as a reflection of what the revolutionary process has done in the political sphere of the country.

“All militants over 15 years of age, ID card holders or not, who are residents of where the UBCh operates, were summoned,” he said.

At the same time, he recalled that party members, Venezuelans over 16 years of age, who do not hold current positions within the communal council, or hold high-level public positions, could be elected for this election.

In addition, according to article 11 of the Electoral Regulations, they cannot be sanctioned by the Disciplinary Court, nor may they have been sentenced for a serious criminal offense or disqualified by the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic.

It is worth mentioning that at the end of the day the 10 most voted will make up the team, being of these the head of the UBCh the one that has registered the most votes, the other nine will assume responsibilities in the structure according to their abilities and skills.

First and second phase

In the state of Falcón for the level of street leadership, the militancy chose 11,200 political street teams on August 20 in a day full of optimism and camaraderie.

Inhabitants of urbanism 480 years of Coro expressed their satisfaction in evaluating the process as an orderly event where the decision of the inhabitants was respected.

Alexander Medina alleged that in each block the neighbors supported their leader for their performance in the social and political area within the community.

“This party is once again an example for democracy and for the stateless opposition that does not leave its interests aside but lets its seams be seen, while the revolution reinvents itself to continue giving answers to the people,” he pointed out.

Meanwhile, at the level of the election of community leaders held on August 27, the region counted 1,700 community political teams elected transparently and with the support of their followers.

In the Carirubana municipality, political chief Abel Petit declared that a quiet day was lived in the town where participatory democracy, high level of awareness, political conviction and commitment to social work prevailed in this new stage of the Bolivarian revolution.

“Under the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez and the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro, we continue to advance firmly in the defense, protection and development of our Homeland, through the increasingly organized Popular Power as a guarantee of unity, struggle, battle and victory” said the leader.

Petit recalled that the elections took place within the framework of the V Congress of the PSUV and the IV of the Jpsuv.

Likewise, the political chief of the Miranda municipality, Henry Hernández, asked each of the liaisons to accompany the process where the decision of the bases is respected once again.

“Nothing and no one can interfere in what the people decide. Our militancy is wise and aware of the vote. Here there are no lines, the winners will be those that our bases freely decide », he asserted.

For his part, the municipal political liaison of the Willi Medina party congratulated the participants for their organization, unity and civility.

“It is a process of the revolutionary people where the Chavista bases are called to set an example, to continue working with our communities and of course to be guarantors that our process is carried out in peace, in harmony and with a lot of revolutionary militancy,” he said.

The coordinator of the Organization of the PSUV in Miranda, Yolexis García, emphasized that those who have a national identity card, identity card or party card participated.

“We are going to let the people express themselves, to be autonomous in their streets, sidewalks, in their voting centers. The people know how to organize themselves, they have the tools, we are only the means for information to reach them », he specified.

He also detailed that in total in the Miranda municipality, 2,769 street bosses were renewed and 212 community leaders assumed the responsibility of working for their sectors, hand in hand with the party and government authorities.

Similarly, the municipal political secretary, Charles Suárez, said that the militancy carried out the process as indicated by Diosdado Cabello, vice president of this political group.

Suárez said that this powerful social force of the PSUV Miranda is led by more than 80% of women. “This shows the commitment of women to the revolution,” she said.

He also pointed out that in this new stage, men and women strengthen the grassroots work in the structures, which has been built with effort for years.

«The work of the bases in the social sphere is important, staying informed to know the needs of their people. Street leaders articulate leadership, organize, plan, they are the executing arm of the government in the communities », he pointed out.
