In a campaign in downtown Curitiba, in the famous spot known as Boca Maldita, this Monday morning (22), the MDB candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Simone Tebet, proposed carrying out public-private partnerships (PPPs) for the generate jobs and develop the country’s infrastructure. Simone cited a national plan for roads and railways.
“Brazil needs to grow again, generate employment and income, and this can only be done in partnership with the private sector. We are here in Paraná, which is a typical example of what Brazil needs. second largest grain producer, but which depends on logistics, depends on railways, on duplicated roads”, she said, adding that, if elected, she will carry out the largest partnership logistics program, PPPs, railroads and highways in Brazil.
Regarding the expectation for the start of the mandatory electoral schedule on radio and television next Friday (26), the presidential candidate said that the opportunity “is extremely positive” and intends to present herself as someone different. “Polls show that we are facing an election, the most atypical and strange election in the history of Brazil, where we have the two who score that they are the two most rejected. So it’s time for us to introduce ourselves to Brazil. It’s a woman to talk about the Brazil we want for our children, for our partners and without a doubt it’s nothing like what’s there”, she pointed out.
The candidate added that among the points she will present is a project that “eradicates poverty” and, for the first time, according to her, will place education as a national priority.
Still in defense of greater representation of women in politics, Simone Tebet presented a goal: “we want to have 30% of women elected this year, which is not enough, but it already represents twice the current 15% that participate in national political life. ”, he highlighted.
Also this Monday, the Emedebista candidate visits a company in Colombo, in the metropolitan region, and returns to Curitiba to visit a campaign committee. She will also grant an interview to a broadcaster in São Paulo.
