The Vice Minister for Community and Social Organization and Participation, César Carrero, announced that around 5,000 Community Councils began their process to adapt and renew their spokespersons.
The information was made known during a telephone interview on the program “Political with the Kuate”, of the Anzoatiguense radio station, Rítmica 101.5 FM, where he presented the progress regarding the process of renewing the spokespersons of the Communal Councils in the country.
In it, he highlighted that “in five months of management, we found 65% of spokespersons expired on a national scale, that responds to the fact that we come from a pandemic and the constant attacks on the country’s economy and the development of the organization in the territory (…) But now, understanding the day to day, people have started assemblies throughout the country”.
In the national territory, the deputy minister specified, they estimate that the rest of the Communal Councils will do the same in the coming months.
“It is not the fact of just renewing, but rather emphasizing principles such as the rescue of the assembly spirit, the harmonization of the forces in the territory, how we guarantee that all the active forces understand that everyone fits in a Communal Council”, projection.
