The reason was the discussion that almost came to blows between the red deputies Del Pilar Medina and Rocío Abed on the one hand and the liberal Celeste Amarilla on the other. The latter questioned that her colleagues had claimed to be “Horacio Cartes’ dogs”, which triggered all kinds of expletives that almost ended with blows.
According to information handled by some legislators, between Thursday and Friday some Republican and Democratic party senators will arrive from the United States to talk about corruption in the country. In addition, a final report would arrive from Gafilat that has to do with the performance of the Prosecutor’s Office. In other words, the report postpones Quiñónez’s management on investigations related to corruption cases and on the prevention of money laundering.
