According to Foreign Affairs, the sanctioned people “support the hostile course of London, focused on demonizing our country and seeking its international isolation.”
The published list includes former Prime Minister David Cameron, British Foreign Office spokeswoman Helen Bower-Easton, a number of officials and several journalists, including the head of the British news service. BBCJonathan Munro, according to Sputnik News.

It is not the first extension of the blacklist, since in mid-June Moscow included another 29 British journalists and media directors for their attitude towards the Russian military campaign in Ukraine.
A month earlier, Russia banned then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and 12 other senior officials, including nine members of his cabinet, from entering the country. Johnson, one of the biggest supporters of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, traveled to kyiv on April 9, where he announced a new military aid package.
In addition, Moscow sanctioned 154 lawmakers from the House of Lords (Upper House) of the British Parliament, including the president, John McFall, in response to the inclusion of almost the entire Russian Senate on a blacklist.
By the end of March Russia had sanctioned 287 deputies of the House of Commons in response to London’s decision to do the same with 386 deputies of the Duma or congress of deputies.
