This Tuesday the Registration of Access to Energy Subsidies (RASE) ended for users whose DNI ends in 0,1 and 2, and according to data from the Ministry of Energy, 1,289,955 users completed the form so as not to lose the subsidy of the government.
Although the registration stage continues, according to preliminary data, of the total number of registered households, some 50,000 could lose support of the State, since with the new tariff segmentation it seeks to guarantee that the subsidy reach the most vulnerable families.
According to the secretariat, 50,766 users would be part of the first segmentation group, that is, with higher incomewhich will be left without the subsidy and will pay the full rate.
Of the rest of the registered households, 693,506 users would belong to group two, of medium income, who will suffer an increase in the electricity and gas rate of 20% on average; while 545,683 households would be part of group three, that is, the one that will maintain the social rate.
It should be clarified that the data provided by the Energy portfolio is preliminary, and that the RASE registration process continues for DNIs ending in 3, 4 and 5, between July 20 and 22, and for documents ending in 6 , 7, 8 and 9, registration will be made between July 23 and 26.
Once this call is finished, the Government will analyze the data provided and will cross it with the records of other organizations to finally determine which users belong to each tariff segmentation.
According to official data, the new segmentation will take effect as of August 1, when the rate charts are updated. However, those who will pay the full rate will see the increases in tickets gradually.
What happens if I do not complete the RASE
The Government recommends that all electricity and gas users complete the RASE, according to the scheduled schedule, so as not to lose support of the State. Those who cannot fill out the form virtually can request a shift at the ANSES (National Social Security Administration), throughout July, to do so.
Otherwise, people who do not carry out this procedure in person or virtually will lose the entire government economic benefit and will pay the full rate.
