A 54-year-old man died in the last hours of this Sunday, after being the victim of an attack with a firearm on Friday, which occurred in Punta de Rieles.
The attack happened in the streets Lieutenant Galiano and Ovidio Fernández (Rail Point). The victim was walking by when several people approached him. For reasons still unknown, a shooting began, since he now died, he also had a weapon. After the exchange of fire, the man would die after receiving at least one shot in the head.
While he was lying wounded, the man was transferred to the polyclinic in Mechelen, where he received care and was then referred to the Hospital de Clínicas, due to the seriousness of his injuries and precarious state of health. Finally, this Sunday she perished.
