The man was getting out of the water with the help of lifeguards and vanished on the shore

A 57 year old man died this Wednesday when he was rescued by lifeguards from the water of the Santa Ana Beach, in Canelones, reported Telenoche and confirmed The Observer.
The situation occurred when the man was bathing with his daughter in the water and suddenly began to drown, he told The Observer, the coordinator of the Canelones Lifeguard, Sebastián Geymonat. There, the lifeguards saw the situation and began to pull him out of the water. As they pulled him out and brought him closer to the shore, the man suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest and fainted.
There the lifeguards began to apply CPR techniques and then used the automatic external defibrillator that they have in their service.. After 15 minutes, the mobile emergency arrived and both the lifeguards, the emergency guards and two doctors who were on the beach tried to save him.
