In the early hours of this Friday, a new group of 266 compatriots returned to Venezuela from Peru, in the operation activated by Conviasa as part of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria, reported the Vice Minister for Latin America of the Chancellery of the Republic, Rander Peña.
“To date, there are more than 270,000 returnees by various air and land routes, Venezuelans who are arriving in their homeland daily,” added Peña.
He explained that these compatriots “with their potential, their joy, with their encouragement, are going to be part of the new moment that Venezuela is having and that is advancing towards total prosperity.”
“These Venezuelans today will be able to hug their family, friends and loved ones who for different reasons made the decision to leave and have now made the decision to return,” he said.
Juan Moreno, repatriated, thanked the deployment of that humanist mission that allowed him to reunite with his daughter “I went to look for her in Peru after 6 years that she was there, thank God I had this opportunity to go for her and that she is here with us”, indicates a press release from Conviasa.
Irwin Márquez, who also arrived on the Conviasa flight, explained “I was in Lima, Peru for about 4 years and 10 months, I am happy to take advantage of this opportunity that the Venezuelan State offers us to be able to return to the homeland after this long period of hard work, wanting to get ahead and continue working to give everything for the country”.
