23 years in prison for two FANB officers for sexual abuse

The 3rd Trial Court of Acarigua, Portuguesa, sentenced taxi driver Nelson Javier Venegas Castillo (41) to 23 years and four months in prison for the sexual abuse of his 8-year-old daughter, a fact detected on December 29 of 2021 in the Andrés Eloy Blanco de Acarigua neighborhood, Páez municipality of the aforementioned llanera entity, reported the Public Ministry.

That day, the victim told her mother that she did not want to stay at her father’s house, because she was abused by him when she was sleeping.

Subsequently, the woman went to the Prosecutor’s Office to denounce her former partner, who was captured on January 2, 2022.

At the trial, the aforementioned prosecutor’s office ratified the accusation against the taxi driver for the crime of sexual abuse of a girl with aggravated penetration.

Once the evidence was evaluated, the 3rd Court handed down the aforementioned sentence against Venegas, which he will serve in the Fénix Penitentiary Community, located in Lara.
