Last night, the First Collegiate Court of the Santo Domingo province imposed sentences of 30, 20, 10, nine, six and five years in prison on 10 of the 13 defendants in the attack against the former Major League Baseball player, david ortiz happened in June 2019.
The defendants Eddy Vladimir Féliz García and Rolfi Ferreras Cruz or Ramón Martínez Pérez (a) Rolfiaged 26 and 27, respectively, were sentenced to 30 years in prison each and Alberto Miguel Rodriguez Mota28 years old, was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
While each one was sentenced to 10 years in prison José Eduardo Ciprián Lebrón (a) Chuky and Oliver Moisés Mirabal24 and 28 years old, respectively.

Gabriel Alexander Pérez Vizcaíno (a) Hueso, 31 years old, was sentenced to nine years in prison, while Joel Rodríguez de la Cruz (a) Calamardo, 28, was sentenced to six years in prison; Franklin Junior Meran (a) Rubirosa, Porfirio Ayendi Dechamps Vásquez (a) Nene and Junior César La Hoz Vargas (a) Yayo and/or El Lindo, aged 26, 29 and 28, were sentenced to five years in prison.
Carlos Rafael Álvarez Pérez (a) Carlos Nike, Reynaldo Rodríguez Valenzuela (a) El Chino and Víctor Hugo Gómez Vásquez and/or Jesús Manuel Ortiz, aged 29, 28 and 31, respectively received acquittals for insufficient evidence.
