The vice president of the Popular Party, Zulphy Santamaría, spoke on Radio Panama about the expectation that Martin Torrijos’s candidacy as presidential candidate for this political group has created for the 2024 general elections.
For Santamaría, former President Torrijos is already a proven person to fix the many problems that the country has: “We have come together to try to amend many basic problems that occur such as the problem of garbage, water, insecurity, we have a Social Security crisis and that we already live and that it was the result of the period of President Torrijos ».
“People remember what Martin Torrijos did for the country and it fills us with pride to champion a candidate with whom he has already made an alliance with us, who has shown honesty, solidarity for the country, who has shown capacity and detachment, and he says so. that he is doing it again (Running) because I feel that my country needs it,” said Santamaría.
