Businessman Zamir Villaverde He denounced this Wednesday adjustment actions from the Ministry of the Interior (Mininter), the day after being released from the Ancón I prison.
A vehicle, with a license plate belonging to that sector, was in the vicinity of his home in La Molina, according to a video broadcast by Combutters. Inside, there were two subjects whom Villaverde manages to intercept.
“This is an abuse,” Medaly Barrientos, a lawyer for Villaverde, told Peru21. Barrientos confirmed that his sponsor is being held at the La Planicie Police Station (La Molina).
According to his defense, Villaverde was detained because he still had an indictment in force in the system, despite the fact that the court had already ordered his release last Friday.
“This is a pressure maneuver by the Ministry of the Interior,” said another of his lawyers, Julio Rodríguez.
Villaverde is an effective collaborator of the Prosecutor’s Office, in the investigations that directly compromise the Government of Pedro Castillo.
