Zagreb: Cuban Magdiel Estrada wins silver medal in Judo Grand Prix

Cuban Magdiel Estrada reached the silver medal this Saturday in the -73 kg division, at the Grand Prix of Judo, in Zagreb 2022.

The Antillean only lost in the final against the Italian Manuel Lombardo, runner-up in the world championship but in the -66 kg and in Budapest 2021, precise the digital site report Hit.

Estrada had reached the final by beating all his opponents by ippon and without being marked by his rivals’ actions, although in the dispute for gold he fell in just 12 seconds of combat.

With the silver medal, Estrada improved the result of the previous stop of the Grand Prix in the city of Budapest when he anchored in fifth place.
