On August 10, the prosecution arrived at the house of Yenifer Paredes in Chota (Cajamarca) to search his home, in the framework of the investigation for the alleged crimes of influence peddling and money laundering on the modality of criminal organization, which would be led by President Pedro Castillo.
During the intervention, the prosecutorial team found 14 seals of lieutenant governors from various communities and a justice of the peace from the district of Anguía. Likewise, he gave an account of other documents of bills of the Ministry of Education (Minedu) and technical files of works of various entities.
In addition, the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office found a notebook of minutes of sessions that corresponded to communities in the district of Anguía; as well as a seal of the general secretary and administrator of the aforementioned municipality.
“Specifying that said seals are stamped on a bond sheet for further illustration, it is evident that Yenifer Paredes Navarro would have access and/or ties to said local authorities indicated on the corresponding seals, it being the hypothesis of this Public Ministry that the possession would be for the purpose of that, through them, there would be an approach to the inhabitants of the towns in question”, says the tax provision prepared by Hans Aguirre of the Special Team against the Corruption of Power.
Along these lines, he adds that what has been referred to is demonstrated “in a video broadcast by the media, in which it can be seen that Yenifer Paredes, accompanied by some local authorities, addresses the residents and, in this way, has their support in relation to some registration, since said action would be necessary and/or required for the preparation of technical work files, evidencing the modus operandi”.
Another of the elements that prosecutor Hans Aguirre adds are the notes of works in Cajamarca that they discovered in the house of the Paredes cousins, which is located in the district of Chorrillos.
According to the fiscal hypothesis, to which La República agreed, Yenifer Paredes, had the function of contacting mayors and regional authorities to grant financing to the projects so that they are executed with the companies of Hugo Espino Lucana, with financing from the Ministry of Housing. , Construction and Sanitation.
