Women’s team thrashes Gibraltar 7-0

In their first preparation game on European soil towards the Women’s World Cup, the Panamanian team easily beat Gibraltar 7-0 with Emily Cedeño as an outstanding player, who scored three times.

The Panamanian women’s eleventh had complete control of the game where they won 4-0 at halftime and finished the rout with 3 more goals in the second half.

The Panamanian’s goals were the work of a hat-trick by Emily Cedeño, Karla Riley, Erika Hernández, Marta Cox and Desyré Salazar

Next June 29 will be the next friendly for the Panamanians now against Spain in the town of Avilés at the Román Suarez Puerta stadium, after this match Panama will travel to Saudi Arabia where they will have another camp until mid-July, and then travel to Japan where they will meet the eleventh Japanese women on July 14.
