Although the vote count has not yet officially ended, with the information provided by the Electoral Service (Servel) it is already possible to calculate the number of people who turned out to vote during the exit plebiscite that determined the Rejection option as the winner.
With 88.08% of polling stations counted, the total number of people who cast valid votes (Approve or Reject), null and blank, reached a total of 11,443,193.
When the figures were at 48.01%, the participation was 3,738,828 in favor of the Rejection versus 2,238,778 of the Approval. In all, 5,977,606. If we project this figure to the total, at 100%, 11,955,212 people are forecast.
The figure is already very close, missing 12% of tables to scrutinize.
