congressman Wilmar Elera (Somos Peru) referred to the statements provided by the businessman Zamir Villaverde from the Ancón I prison in front of the Parliament’s Oversight Commission, in relation to an alleged electoral fraud in the last elections to favor President Pedro Castillo and the visit of an alleged emissary of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Félix Chero.
The parliamentarian, a member of the aforementioned Legislative working group, pointed out that the congressmen who went to the prison to take Villaverde’s statements were surprised when they heard him speak so convinced of the alleged acts of corruption.
“When we said goodbye, Zamir Villaverde finished by saying: ‘I have decided to declare this despite the fact that it could go against my life. In this sense, Elera highlighted that all the members of the commission were “perplexed” upon hearing that the head of state had made an agreement with the National Elections Jury (JNE) to win the last elections.
“He (Zamir Villaverde) spoke and made a statement that left us all perplexed. He said that the President of the Republic had colluded with the JNE to win the elections in the first round. and that López Aliaga and Keiko Fujimori had won in the first round“, Held.

According to the president of the Supervisory Commission, Hector Ventura, Zamir Villaverde also assured that the minister Felix Chero tried to contact him through a third person to prevent him from accusing officials and the president peter castle.
